God's Working
What a great weekend it was. We got haircuts, moved furniture, had a meeting and enjoyed church.
I was really excited yesterday during the morning message because so much of what was said lines up with a lot of stuff talked about during Saturday’s meeting with some church members. We (the church) need to be supporting our pastor by finding ways that we can support and encourage the ministry. I’m purposely praying for some specific great things to occur in our church through our church leadership (not just the pastor and deacons, but other roles as well)!
This is going to be a good week. I can feel it. It always amazes me how a good church service can energize you throughout the week.
U-Turn has laser tag this Friday. That will be a lot of fun. A few years ago a kid joined us for the first time at the laser tag event. Afterward we went to McDonalds and I got to buy him a soda. Nick still keeps in touch although he’s not in the area anymore. I sure miss that kid (man, now).
Our house redesign is almost finished. It’s been a crazy and stressful process. I’m beginning to realize that painting really pushes my limits. I’m so thankful for a family that enjoys it and converged on my house last weekend. I think we are starting to enjoy our nook in the woods.
Have a great week!
